Arno Oswald Zauche born in Weimar, Germany and was awell-known German sculptor and porcelain ceramics . Zauche was a student of Adolf von Donndorf . In the period after 1913 (after the departure of its founder, Max Adolf Pfeiffer to the Meissen porcelain manufactory) Zauche was artistic associate of Schwarzburg workshops for porcelain art.
He did designs for several monuments and fountains in Thuringia: a three meter high statue of a monument of Prince Karl Günther of Schwarzburg-Sondershausen on the Long Mountain. In Weimar, a monument to the fallen in World War I soldiers of the 94th Thuringian Infantry Regiment (former location in front of the south wing of the castle town of Weimar , from 1949). He did a large-scale sandstone relief foundation of the university, with the goddess Pallas Athene , 1908 for the inauguration of the Friedrich-Schiller-University Jena . Life-size bronze figure of deer, on display at the German horticultural and Silesian Industrial Exhibition ( GUGALI ) in Legnica 1927 (on the lawn Berger). The casting patterns is preserved [4] . An identical figure (Zweitgu) Has since the late 1920s in the grounds of Good Schwaighof at Augsburg.
